The Parable of the Two Builders (Matthew 7:24-27)

24 And so whosoever heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be like unto a prudent man that built his house upon a rock: 25 And theroar fell, and the waters came, and the swamps rose, and threw themselves upon the rock: but he fell not, for he  had fallen upon the rocks. 26 But everyman  He thatheareth these words of mine,  and hath not fulfilled them, shall be like unto him,and to him that is  pale, that set hishouseupon the sand. 27 And the flood fell, and the waters were stirred, and the rivers were lifted up, and they turned upon the Andhe fell, and his sonwas great. 28 When Jesushad finished these words,thecrowd was amazed at his teaching; 29 For he taught themas one having power, and not as theirservants.

The Parable of the Two Builders (Luke 6:47-49)

47 Do you know who is like him who hears these words of mine and does them? 48 He is like a man who  builta man, digging and digging, and laying his feet on the rock. When  the flood came, a  stream came over the river, but he could notmove it, because it was wellbuilt. 49 Whoeverhearsmy words and does not act on them is like aman. which exhibitson the ground without any problems. When the current came  upon it, it immediately rushed down, and the doorbehind the house was great.“

Statement about salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16)

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt be devoid of taste, wherewith shall it be salted? It is no longer of any use but to throw it out and people trample on it. 14 You are the light of the world. A city lying on a mountain cannot remain hidden. 15 And whenhe lighteth a lamp,  he puteth it not under theseason, but in the holyplace: and the light is  inhishouse. 16 And so the  holy light is in the sight of  men, that he may see the light of the world.Doyourgood deeds and give your message to yourFather in heaven.

The Light Meant for the Candlestick (Mark 4:21-25)

21 And he said to them, „Is the light coming, that it should be put under a vessel or under a bed, and not on a candlestick? 22 There is nothing hidden, that it may not be revealed, and nothing be hidden, except that it may be revealed. 23 He that heareth, hear. 24 And he said unto them, Pay attention to whatye hear. With what measureye measure, so Godhathmade us inhim, and he hath  been added. 25 For he  that hath hath shall be given: and he that hath not, that which hath shall be ofhim.“

16 For no one shall light a light, and cover it with a vessel, or put it under the bed, but shall put it on a candlestick, that those who come in may see the light. 17 There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing hidden that will not be known and revealed. 18 Pay attention therefore to what you hear: For he who has will be given, and he who does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.“

Statements about light (Luke 11:33-36)

33 No one lighteth a light to put it in a corner or under a vessel, but puts it on a candlestick, that they that come in may see: 34 The light of thybodyis the eye. Ifthe TV eye  is  clean, the whole TVis also  light. If your eye  is bad, your    bodyis in darkness. 35 See  , then, and the lightin you is not dark. 36 If the whole body is holy.Thatthe earth and the desire of    its part will not be  in darkness, the whole will be as clear as ever the  light of its dawn.“
