Text zkoumá různé aspekty gnosticismu a jeho vliv na jiná náboženství a kultury. Vysvětluje základní gnostické principy, jako je víra v božskou jiskru uvězněnou v hmotném světě a existence Archontů (zlovolných vládců), a srovnává je s křesťanskými a neoplatónskými koncepty. Součástí je také kritika ortodoxního křesťanství, zejména vlivu Římské říše na jeho vývoj, a detailní analýza Markiónova křesťanství, které odmítalo Starý zákon a židovské vlivy. Text se dále věnuje hinduismu a buddhismu, upozorňuje na jejich složitost a na průsečíky s gnostickým myšlením, a dotýká se moderních interpretací gnosticismu, například v díle Philip K. Dicka a v současné kinematografii s odkazy na filmy jako Matrix nebo Truman Show. It explains basic Gnostic principles, such as the belief in a divine spark imprisoned in the material world and the existence of the Archons (malevolent rulers), and compares them with Christian and Neoplatonic concepts. It also includes a critique of Orthodox Christianity, especially the influence of the Roman Empire on its development, and a detailed analysis of Marcion’s Christianity, which rejected the Old Testament and Jewish influences. The text also deals with Hinduism and Buddhism, draws attention to their complexity and intersections with Gnostic thought, and touches on modern interpretations of Gnosticism, for example in the work of Philip K. Dick and in contemporary cinema with references to films such as The Matrix or The Truman Show. Finally, the text criticizes religious blindness and emphasizes the need for a scientific approach to knowledge and an individual search for truth.

Předložené texty nabízejí komplexní a mnohostranný pohled na gnosticismus, definují jej jako rozmanité nábožensko-filozofické hnutí pozdní antiky s kořeny v helénistickém judaismu a řecké filozofii. Zdroje zkoumají jeho klíčové koncepty, jako je radikální dualismus (oddělující transcendentního Boha od zlého stvořitele, Demiurga), důraz na gnózi (poznání) jako cestu ke spáse a kritika ortodoxního křesťanství. Dále se věnují specifickým gnostickým skupinám (např. Valentiniánům a Sethiánům), jejich rituálům, kosmologiím a vlivu gnosticismu na umění, literaturu, filozofii (zejména na Junga a německé mystiky) a dokonce i na moderní kulturu a myšlení. Zdrojový text podrobně analyzuje hnutí Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL), novou náboženskou skupinu, která se vydělila ze šíitského islámu. Představuje teologické nauky AROPL, včetně konceptu sedmi božských smluv, víry v reinkarnaci a neortodoxních výkladů biblických a koránských příběhů, jako je reinterpretace „mytí nohou“ jako eufemismu pro sexuální akt. Materiál dále rozebírá historický vývoj hnutí, jeho rozdělení na frakce „Bílých praporů“ a „Černých praporů“ (AROPL), kontroverze týkající se nástupnictví a pronásledování členů v různých zemích. Kriticky hodnotí tvrzení AROPL s ohledem na akademické, historické a teologické standardy, přičemž mnohé z nich označuje za pseudovědecké, konspirační nebo účelové manipulace. Závěrem text AROPL charakterizuje jako synkretické a spekulativní náboženské hnutí, jehož věrohodnost je mimo okruh jeho stoupenců vysoce zpochybnitelná.
SECOND COLLECTION OF THE TEXTBOOK OF GNOSTICISM 2.0: AHMADI RELIGION OF PEACE AND LIGHT
The source text analyzes in detail the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light (AROPL), a new religious group that has split from Shia Islam. It presents AROPL’s theological teachings, including the concept of the seven divine covenants, belief in reincarnation, and unorthodox interpretations of biblical and Quranic stories, such as the reinterpretation of „foot washing“ as a euphemism for the sexual act. The material further discusses the historical development of the movement, its division into factions of the „White Banners“ and „Black Banners“ (AROPL), controversies regarding succession and persecution of members in different countries. It critically evaluates AROPL’s claims with respect to academic, historical, and theological standards, calling many of them pseudoscientific, conspiratorial, or purposeful manipulations. In conclusion, he characterizes the text of AROPL as a syncretic and speculative religious movement, the credibility of which is highly questionable outside the circle of its followers.
(4) TŘETÍ SBORNÍK K UČEBNICI GNOSTICISMU 2.0: NEVYJÁDŘITELNÉ TAJEMSTVÍ ŽENSTVÍ V BOŽSKÉM PLÁNU
Předložené texty rozsáhle zkoumají postavení ženství a ženských principů v křesťanských tradicích, zejména pak v katolické, pravoslavné a gnostické perspektivě. První část podrobně popisuje roli Panny Marie v Novém zákoně a v teologii katolické a pravoslavné církve, včetně mariánských dogmat, úcty a titulů, a zároveň se komparativně věnuje Marii Magdaléně. Druhá část se zaměřuje na gnostické texty a jejich pojetí ženského božství, jako jsou postavy Barbelo, Sofie a Eva, a rozebírá gnostickou kosmologii s koncepty eónů a syzygií, které vyzdvihují rovnost mužského a ženského principu. Zdroje také srovnávají tyto tradice z filozofického, antropologického, religionistického a sociologického hlediska, sledujíce vliv na vnímání žen v historii i v moderní feministické teologii a zahrnují úvahy o možném propojování gnostických archetypů se slovanskými bohyněmi v kontextu novodobého gnosticismu. Závěrem je pak i terminologický slovník a seznam použité literatury.
THIRD VOLUME OF THE TEXTBOOK OF GNOSTICISM 2.0: The Inexpressible Mystery of Femininity in the Divine Plan
The presented texts extensively examine the position of femininity and feminine principles in Christian traditions, especially in the Catholic, Orthodox and Gnostic perspectives. The first part describes in detail the role of the Virgin Mary in the New Testament and in the theology of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, including Marian dogmas, veneration and titles, and at the same time comparatively deals with Mary Magdalene. The second part focuses on Gnostic texts and their conceptions of feminine divinity, such as the figures of Barbelo, Sophia, and Eve, and discusses Gnostic cosmology with the concepts of aeons and syzygias that emphasize the equality of the masculine and feminine principles. The sources also compare these traditions from philosophical, anthropological, religious and sociological perspectives, observing the influence on the perception of women in history and in modern feminist theology, and include reflections on the possible connection of Gnostic archetypes with Slavic goddesses in the context of modern Gnosticism. Finally, there is a terminological dictionary and a list of used literature.

Tento text představuje Naghammadskou gnostickou bibli, kterou v roce 2026 uspořádal a zrekonstruoval Bc. Josef Šédl. Publikace obsahuje překlady všech třinácti kodexů nalezených v Egyptě, včetně proslulého Tomášova evangelia či Tripartitního traktátu. Na rozdíl od vědeckých edic autor chybějící části textu, takzvané lakuny, doplňuje na základě gnostické teologie, aby vytvořil plynulé „Slovo na cestu“. Součástí díla je i kritická příloha, která s pomocí umělé inteligence porovnává tyto duchovní interpretace s koptskými originály. Celý soubor slouží k vnitřnímu probuzení a vzdělávání členů České gnostické individualistické komunity. Cílem je zprostředkovat starověkou mystickou moudrost jako živý pramen pro osobní duchovní praxi.
NAG HAMMADI GNOSTIC BIBLE
This text presents the Nag Hammadi Gnostic Library, which was compiled and reconstructed by Josef Šédl in 2026. The publication contains translations of all thirteen codices found in Egypt, including the famous Gospel of Thomas and the Tripartite Treatise. Unlike scholarly editions, the author fills in the missing parts of the text—the so-called lacunae—based on Gnostic theology to create a coherent “Word for the Journey.” The work also includes a critical appendix that uses artificial intelligence to compare these spiritual interpretations with the Coptic originals. The entire collection serves to foster inner awakening and education among members of the Czech Gnostic Individualist Community. The goal is to convey ancient mystical wisdom as a living source for personal spiritual practice.
