Kritická rekonstrukce teologie, kosmologie a antropologie z primárních pramenů s moderním religionistickým výkladem (Varianta 5 – Kontrolní verze)

Ediční poznámka k překladům a citacím: Veškeré textové citace a ukázky z primárních pramenů uvedené v této studii pocházejí výhradně z překladu a kritického uspořádání korpusu „Codex Nag Hammádí – gnostické studium – 5. VARIANTA (kontrolní verze)“, jehož autorem je Bc. Josef Šédl, DiS. Tato práce slouží jako výchozí textová základna pro celý článek. Případná poškozená místa (lakuny) v původních koptských rukopisech jsou v citacích nahrazena logickou textovou rekonstrukcí a pro přesnost vyznačena v hranatých závorkách [ ].

Úvodní metodologické vymezení

Předkládaná textově-kritická studie volí radikální odklon od běžných religionistických paradigmat. Výchozí otázkou není, jak Sethiánství kategorizují moderní badatelé obecně, nýbrž výhradně to, co skutečně říkají samotné primární texty.

Aby byl obraz kompletní, jsou tyto primární citace z Nag Hammadského korpusu bezprostředně konfrontovány s hlubokým odborným výkladem předních světových badatelů (John D. Turner, Bentley Layton, Birger A. Pearson a další). Tento postup umožňuje čtenáři vidět nezprostředkovaný primární text a vzápětí nahlédnout do moderní akademické analýzy, která odhaluje jeho filozofické a historické kořeny.

The Roman Catholic Church is undergoing a profound historical transformation. The Second Vatican Council represented a necessary and courageous step to bring a centuries-old institution closer to the educated individual of the modern era. It marked a theological shift toward a mature, rational faith. Yet today, sixty years later, we witness efforts by certain conservative circles to reverse this development and turn the clock back to the pre-conciliar era.

If the Church fails to communicate with the educated person of the 21st century in the language of science and sincere pastoral dialogue, its old rigid structures will inevitably collapse. Only what can withstand empirical reality will remain. The following case study illustrates what a theological and argumentative collapse looks like when nostalgia for the past collides with the present. How a smuggled theological construct became an instrument of fear that is emptying churches today.

  • The Origin of Evil in Christianity: Jesus never taught that we are born with genetic guilt. This dogma emerged much later, largely due to a flawed Latin translation of the Apostle Paul.
  • Manipulation Through Fear: Augustine’s radical doctrine created a system of dependency that labeled humanity a „damned mass“ and today produces a phenomenon known as religious trauma syndrome.
  • Gnostic Philosophy as a Cure: Humanity does not need redemption from innate depravity, but rather an awakening and knowledge of its true spiritual essence.

There are doctrines that one accepts as a completely self-evident part of Christianity. They are so deeply rooted in catechisms, sermons, and religious language that few people ask the most important, almost heretically simple question: Did Jesus actually teach this? And if not Jesus, does the New Testament teach it at all?

This is exactly the question we must begin with if we want to understand one of the greatest theological frauds in history: the doctrine of original sin.

In contemporary Western Christianity, it is common to claim that a person is born burdened with Adam’s sin, that human nature is fundamentally corrupted, and that from birth, one is part of a condemned human race. It sounds orthodox. It sounds traditional. There is only one catch: this insane doctrine was completely absent from original Christianity.

It was smuggled in, radicalized, and systematized by a man whose shadow still lies over Western civilization today — Aurelius Augustine.
